Keurig Rivo Espresso Machine Available Soon?

Postby hotwasabipeas » Wed Oct 03, 2012 12:37 am

So I was browsing Lavazza's website and they have the elusive Keurig Rivo machine on the site with pics and info! I was surprised to see it there as I thought it wasn't coming out until closer to Christmas (there also was speculation that it may have been delayed until early 2013). There's no pricing info as you are directed to keurig.com to buy the machine but it's nowhere to be found on that website (the link takes you to the Keurig homepage). There also are 4 different espresso capsules available (no brewed coffee pods) and the machine looks like an ugly version of a Nespresso Latissima+ (I must say the Verismo units both look much nicer than the Rivo - how disappointing :( ).

Great find. We'll post this up tomorrow. The machine looks very Keurig in the design. The capsules look like Lavazza blue stuff...interesting.

Is that an automatic milk frothier of some kind in the picture? Hopefully a real one that uses steam and not a whisk?

I wish the pages had more details - but it looks like they're expecting the Keurig site to provide the details when it goes live.

I can not access either of the sites. Have they been removed? Would love to see the machine.

No Problem Mr. Moderator! :)

Looking at the Rivo with it's carafe shaped milk frother it reminds me of those combo espresso/coffee maker machines:

No worries about the plug, as far as I'm concerned. The McKayla reference on the site cracked me up! Hope this doesn't mean you'll be a stranger here in the future.

Very nice. I'm glad to see it uses fresh milk instead of the pre-package type.

Bloomingdales already has a picture of the Rivo on their website with no description and no availability.

Keurig website is listing this at $229 - http://www.keurig.com/brewers/rivo-brewing-system

Seems a bit pricey to me considering the Vue is the same price....will be interesting to see how this compares to other Cappuccino and Latte machines on the market.

An article on Mashable has a little review of the Rivo and also states that it will be available exclusively at Bloomingdales through the early part of 2013 and then will be sold on Keurig's website
