Ok, I feel like I have been doing nothing else but drinking coffee. Here is what I have tried. I used the star system like NDJOLLY, and I put cream and splenda in all of my coffee.
* barely drinkable **would do in a pinch but not great *** Good cup of coffee **** Rocked my world! LOL..
Aloha Island
Private Estate Platinum *** I love Kona but this is not the one for me. It has a bitter edge to it, does not go down smooth like many others I have tried. It was certainly drinkable, but definitely not a favorite of mine.
Archer Farms
Breakfast blend ** Yuck, I didn't like this one at all, has sorta a sweet taste to it, reminds me of Folgers. My husband thought it was pretty good though.
Baronet's
Breakfast Blend ** (Was just ok for me. Light and smooth though)
Butter pecan*** I liked this one, had a nice smooth buttery pecan flavor. Not overpowering, but not too mild either. Very enjoyable.
Cinnamon Hazlenut * I didn't like this one at all, cinnamon is very strong, and tastes phoney to me.
Cinnamon Stick **(Smooth, but I didn't like this, cinnamon tastes fake)
Chocolate Fudge Decaf *** (nice chocolate taste, nice change from hazelnuts decafs and vanilla decafs)
Chocolate Babka *** (I like this one. It's different, but makes a nice desert coffee. Rich chocolate taste. I added crm & vanila syrup to it)
Chocolate Raspberry *** (Nice dessert type coffee, didn't taste like fake chocolate to me)
Coconut Creme Pie *** I really like this one, very similar to Flava pods Cinnamon Almond Macaroon I think. I like them both.
Creme Brulee ** (I'm not a super big carmel fan, tastes just like when I add carmel syrup to my coffee. Good darker roast flavor)
Donut Shop *** (Good light roast, mild and taste best with cream and sugar)
Eggnog ** (I like this, nice change of pace, add crm & sugar)
European Blend *** Good tasting cup of coffee, similar to the decaf but with more flavor and of course the Caffeine!
European Blend Decaf **** (Very smooth, this is my favorite so far)
Fair Trade Mexican Decaf *** (A good, hearty tasting decaf)
French Toast **** (I love this one, it tastes like french toast! YUMM!)
French Vanilla ** Not bad, just tastes like every other french vanilla out there. Unremarkable for me, but I don't care for vanilla either.
French Vanilla Swirl ** This was ok, tasted like a lot of vanilla which I'm not that fond of so it was just ok for me. If you like vanilla you will probably really like this one.
House Roast *** (good tasting, lighter roast, very mild though)
Izzy's Blend ** This is an ok blend, pretty light, but had decent flavor.
Kenya Dark AA *** (I brewed this at 12oz, and it was good, normally I hate dark roast, but this one was good)
Kona *** Very good Kona, lighter than Betterpods though (which is still my favorite)
Mocha Java *** (Sorta light taste, almost earthy, but good)
Pumpkin Spice ** (very mild, light roast, with a nice pumpkin touch)
Sumatra Mandheling ** Just ok for me, Better pods is so much better as is Moltos. Much smoother with no bite. I found this one to have a bitter edge to it.
Yuletide blend * (Tastes bitter to me, but I hate dark roast)
Betterpods
Breakfast Blend *** (Good, not amazing, but good)
Costa Rica ****(smooth cup of coffee, good flavor, liked a lot)
Columbian Decaf *** (This was very good, I brewed it 12oz and think 10oz would be better next time. Taste was smooth.)
French Roast**** I loved this one. If you are a dark roast lover it has really great flavor. Some char but no bitter taste, a very smooth yummy cup of coffee.
Hazelnut Creme Decaf*** (Good flavor for a decaf, light but not overpowering flavor)
Kona **** (Great cup of coffee, definitely a light roast, but smooth and very yummy!)
Sumatra Mandheling ****(loved this, nice robust coffee taste, very smooth, no bite, with almost a slight sweetness to it)
Tropical Citrus Tea Pod ****I really liked this pod. It tastes like good green tea with a hint of citrus to it. Very good!
Black Mountain
Cinnamon Crumb Cake****Yum! This is so good! Great buttery cinnamon taste, with a darker roast flavor! Love it!
Guatemalan Antigua Decaf *** This was ok, but seems very light to me. I prefer the Baronets European blend.
Kona****(Great cup of coffee, very smooth, no bitter aftertaste, loved it!)
D&E
Dark Roast 0 star (yuckky)
Medium Roast * (better than dark but that is about it)
Decaf ** (better than Medium, would do in a pinch)

Columbian Pompayan Supremo**** I really like this one. It's the only columbian I'm drinking these days. Has a nice rich, smooth taste, and a bit of a heavier mouth feel to it compared to some of the other brands.
Nu Concept Blend*** I like this blend also. Stronger than the columbian, but still very smooth and tasty.

Breakfast Blend** (Very light roast, smooth, but too mild for me)
Carmel Nut Crunch*** (subtle nut flavor, again very smooth, nice cup of coffee)
Cinnamon Almond Macaroon **** (love the coconut, think it would be better with chocolate though instead of cinnamon.)
Cinnamon Sticky Bunns *** (nice light flavor, smooth, with no bite)
Hawaiian Macadamia nut ** (This one is pretty mild, and I'm not a big nut fan, very smooth though)
Midnight Blend *** (Nice medium roast cup of coffee, no bite)
Mocha Cinnamon Swirl **** (luv, luv, LOVE this one! My new favorite, chocolatey, cinnamon heaven)
San Francisco Blend *** (Dark roast cup of coffee, nice flavor, but has a bit of a bite to it)
Swiss Chocolate Almond *** (Good, really like this, nice evening cup of coffee)
If you like flavored coffees you can't go wrong with these folks! Eugene is wonderful and his customer service is phenomenal! UPDATE!! Flava used to be great, now things are terrible I hear. Be forwarned, you may lose your money and not get your coffee if you purchase from these guys. It's too bad as they really had some good pods.

Breakfast Blend *** I liked this one. It is organic and a nice mellow light roast.

Blueberry Cobbler **** (Love this one! Nice flavor, smooth, just great!)
French Vanilla *** (I like this one too, has a different taste, but its good!)

Rainforest Expresso - **** I like this coffee a lot. It reminded me a lot of Betterpods Kona blend. Very smooth, tasty cup of coffee.

Reserve ** Yuck! This is ok if you have nothing else. Reminds me of like the Folgers pods. It is drinkable but certainly not what I would consider a great quality pod.
Sorrento - ** This pod has an ok flavor to it, but has a bitter edge. All of the WP pods taste bitter to me. They are not super smooth, or really enjoyable to drink.
Provence - * Can you say EWWW! bitter aftertaste, just yucky.
Rodeo Drive ** Better coffee flavor than Provence, but still has that nasty bitter edge to it.
Ok..thats all I have so far. I will add more as I continue to sample them.

Added some new ones. Love the Flava Pods! They totally rock! I have some of the regular "unflavored" flava pods arriving soon. I will post those as soon as I try them.

I just started getting my samples yesterday afternoon. So far I have only tried two and one of them was the Betterpods Sumatra Mandheling. I agree with you that this is an excellent cup of coffee. Very smooth, no bitter aftertaste. I am thoroughly enjoying it this morning.
Tried the Flavapods Cinnamon Sticky Bun yesterday afternoon. It was also delicious (but I love flavored coffee). THe cinnamon flavor was definitely present but did not overwhelm the flavor of the actual coffee. Can't wait to try some of the other samples.
Have you tried the Mocha Cinnamon Swirl? That one is my favorite right now. I like the Cinnamon macaroon too! I just tried all of the house roasts too and posted my results above.

Have you tried the Mocha Cinnamon Swirl? That one is my favorite right now. I like the Cinnamon macaroon too! I just tried all of the house roasts too and posted my results above.

I haven't tried either of those but I did use the 15% discount to buy a 100 pack sampler a couple of days ago and I got both of those flavors. I also got extra Caramel Nut Crunch since of all the pods I have sampled so far that was my favorite! My order should be here on Monday and I think I want to try the Mocha Cinnamon Swirl first since that sounds like something I would really enjoy.
I haven't tried their house roast yet- figured I would stick to their flavored. However I did just try the Baronet Decaf European Blend and it was really good. I immediately ordered some since finding a good nonflavored decaf can be difficult. I am now regretting the fact that I didn't order it in the caffinated version also.
Just out of curiousity, which have been your favorite nonflavored pods so far? I see several got three stars but wondering if there were a couple that really stood out.
Yep Rachel, I really like the blueberry. They seem to be sortof a darker roast combined with the blueberry flavor, but I really like them.

I personally love the Betterpods Sumatra and Costa rica. I think the Costa rica is supposed to be a dark roast which I normally don't like,but it has wonderful flavor and is very smooth and not bitter. What you may find after you sample several is that your tastes may change. I personally don't think I had ever had a good dark roast that was not bitter, or had a bite. Once a tried a couple of the betterpods ones I found that they had wonderful coffee flavor and I really began to develop an appreciation for them. If I had to pick a few I would say that the Betterpods Sumatra is my fave, followed by their Costa Rica. I love the Baronets European Blend (and their decaf in the same blend is my favorite ) I tried a Midnight blend from Flava the other day, and it seemed pretty good, although I have to say it would not be my first choice. I've also tried the Baronets Mocha Java and liked that pretty well for just plain coffee. Hope this helps!

Well, I generally don't care for dark roast but I also enjoyed the Betterpods Sumutra and right now I am drinking a Vienna roast from Premium pods that is not bad. I gave my husband my betterpods Costa Rican sample and I wish I hadn't because I have heard really good things about it. And he had decided that he is happy with Maxwell House so it was really a waste of a good pod!
