Pretty cool machine Scott. At 99 Euro it is no bargain- approx. $145 US dollars. Although it would be great to bring on road trips. Smile

Scott,

Looks interesting, although I'm not sure how effectively you could keep the water at proper temp for espresso in a thermos bottle, but a very ingenious product!

By the way, did you get your Espressione Complete Coffee System from eBay yet? I'm really interested to hear your thoughts once you've had the chance to really see what it is capable of. If it can make great espresso from ground coffee or ESE pods AND make great coffee using standard coffee pods AND froth milk using the steam wand, it has the potential to be a great single machine for folks that otherwise might want both a Nespresso and a Pod/K-Cup machine.

Chad

I have not yet gotten the Espressione. I will let everyone know when I do.

The Handpresso is cool, but I agree it is pricey, and an Aeropress would probably be just as good. It does not use pods, however.

The way I understand it, any pump-driven espresso machine can make great coffee from a standard pod, I use the double filter basket and stuff the pod in with my Krups xp4030, thanks to Scott's advice. The biggest problem is fitting a standard cup underneath it, so I brew into a preheated espresso carafe and pour it in my cup..... It would be a great replacement for all of my SSC machines, except it's alot more to fidget around with to make my cup of coffee.

Uber-cool!

For campers, a fire, a water pot, and a thermometer would be all you need!

I'll let you know how great it works when mine finally arrives.
I've been working on getting one for a couple months now. Still awaiting the company to get them and ship. I'll post a full review.
