My dad uses my Keurig B70 for hot water for his instant coffee (he could just put a k-cup with real coffee, even though I don't normally drink coffee I keep K-Cups for others, but he says he prefers instant). One weekend he kept complaining that his coffee tasted like pina colada.

The next day, I go to make myself an iced tea and as I go to put the tea leaves in the my k-cup I saw I had left a vanilla-coconut flavored coffee subtitute in the my k-cup, I immediately made the link to my dad's comments about his coffees tasting like pina colada all day.

Also, as he made more and more cups (he threw out the first ones) he said it was getting better and better, this was obviosuly due to the vanilla nut herbal coffee's flavor fading out after having so much water pumped through!

I burst out laughing when I saw that vanilla nut herbal coffee ground in the my k-cup and made the connection to his "pina colada" coffees! Very Happy

I didn't invent it, it's just an herbal coffee injected into an instant coffee. The herbal coffees I drink are the ones from www.teeccino.com

They have 7 flavors:
-Regular (regular coffee flavor, at least attempted)
-Vanilla nut (this is the one in question above)
-Hazelnut
-Original (hint of orange taste)
-Amaretto (surprisingly similar in taste and smell to the liquor, these are great iced too by the way, I can't stand anything hot in the summer)
-Mocha
-Chocolate mint

I have them all except the regular coffee flavor one Razz

I actually like the taste better than regular coffee, and the flavors are natural, all flavored coffees I've seen are flavored with artificial petroleum based flavorings which I would never consume. Caffeine also stresses me so I avoid it because I get really stressed if I take even just 1-2 coffees or 2-4 black teas.

I drink all my herbal coffees and teas iced in the winter, the Keurig B70 is awesome for iced infusions too! I even have fruit infusions that are just dried fruit peices and some have herbs/flowers in them also, they turn out like fruit juices, I have mango, pina colada, black currant, and a few others, I only make the fruit ones iced.

Hey, aab1, good to hear from you ~~~

Yeah, I have the same bad habit of leaving my used K-cup in the Keurig til I open it up to make another cuppacoffee.
