ABOUT MY TASTE:
I prefer coffee to have a pleasant aroma, smooth taste, very little after-taste, and not be overly strong. I like some flavored coffees, as long as the flavor doesn't overwhelm the taste of the coffee. I don't add anything to the coffee. I drink it black, and prefer to taste only the coffee. I like the temperature to be hot, but not so I lose some skin with the first taste.
I usually drink decaf in the evening. I am from the USA.

So far, these are the coffee pods I have tested, all in a SENSEO machine:

My Rating Key:
**** Best coffee in a Pod!
*** Very good
** Not bad, but room for improvement
* Not very good, but still tolerable
(yuck) Horrible coffee! Will not buy again.
~Any pod listed in blue or red color are pods that I order & drink regularly.

BARONET Coffee Pods
Individually wrapped pods:
Organic Costa Rican *** (Very smooth, my favorite Baronet pod)
Donut Shop *** Very good, light tasting coffee. This is a keeper!
Organic Small Village Blend***-Pretty good medium pod, and it's Fair Trade. Slightly woody, and a smooth finish.
European Blend *** a smooth, medium roast coffee with very little aftertaste.
French Vanilla *** the perfect balance of flavor, with a great aroma!
Organic Mexican Decaf *** good tasting decaf, no aftertaste. Very mild.
Creme Brulee ***very good creamy carmel-like flavor. Not over-powering.
Vanilla Fudge Swirl *** very good blend of flavors, mild taste.
Cinnamon Stick *** very light cinnamon flavor, but very smooth.
100% Kona Fancy *** medium roast, smooth with no aftertaste or bitterness. Pleasant aroma.
House Blend *** Very mild, light roast coffee. Good everyday drink.
Blast *** STRONG cup of coffee, smooth taste with no bitter aftertaste. A good jolt of caffine...it even gave me the jitters!
Cinnamon Hazelnut ** the right balance of flavor, not too strong. (very near ***)
Dark Kenya AA ** I don't see all the hoopla about this one. Too dark in flavor for me.
Native Blueberry ** mild and smooth blueberry flavor. Not overwhelming.
Toasted Almond **strong toasted almond flavor, mild, light taste
Decaf Columbian ** some unpleasant aftertaste, but mild.
Gingerbread **good, but not as much of a gingerbread flavor as I hoped for. Distinct ginger flavor, but no molasses/sweetness. No aftertaste.
Decaf French Vanilla **vanilla seems to have an odd taste.
Yuletide Blend **dark roasted flavor, smooth taste. No bad for a dark roast!
Mocha Java ** Good medium brew.
Izzy's Blend ** Not bad, on the mild side with little aftertaste. Not my favorite though.
French Toast ** Does taste like french toast/maple syrup. Not a fav.
100% Columbian *
Breakfast Blend * very light tasting coffee.
Pumpkin Spice (2005) * (After my third go around, I've raised this one from yuck to one star. It tastes more like Allspice than pumpkin with lots of crema)
Dark Guatemalan * strong bitter aftertaste.
Chocolate Babka * flavor is strong chocolate, with a slight aftertaste. Chocolate flavor tastes really fake to me.

GREEN MOUNTAIN Pods
Individually wrapped pods:
Breakfast Blend ** (instant coffee aftertaste)

Gourmet Café)
~This company sent free samples just for asking!~
Individually wrapped pods:
Tanzania Peaberry **** This is an outstanding medium tasting coffee.
Estate Costa Rican *** very good coffee.
Decaf Columbian ***
Breakfast Blend ***
Kona Blend **
Sumatra Mandheling ** This is not bad, but a little dark roasted for me. I have to cut it with milk to drink it....and I like my coffee black.
Decaf Hazelnut Crème*
French Vanilla (yuck) very intense, overwhelming flavor.
French Roast (yuck)

SENSEO PODS(D&E)
Packaged together, not individually:
Medium **
Decaf ** (this tastes better than the medium to me)
Mocha Gourmet *** (import)
City Sensations Rio De Janeiro*** (my favorite Senseo pod)
Kenya Blend ***
Paris Vanilla Bistro ***
City Sensations Vienna**
City Sensations Sydney**
Killarney Irish Crème **
Mild **
Dark *
City Sensations Milano *

WOLFGANG PUCK
Individually wrapped pods:
Sorrento Medium * light ‘burnt’ aroma and aftertaste
Reserve Medium Roast - YUCK! This is absolutely the worst cup of pod coffee I have ever tried to consume! Zero stars! I couldn't even finish the cup. There is no way this is a medium roast either. (dark)'

PODHEAD SENSATION
~This companies shipping is fast as lightning!~
Individually wrapped pods:
Organic Columbia *** smooth, good coffee. This may be my new favorite!
Arabica Mix *** very good. A little aftertaste, but not bitter.
Mexico Altura Coatepec ** good flavor, medium coffee
Milano Espresso Roast **medium espresso taste. Not overly strong, yet robust.

PREMIUM PODS (Cafejo)
~This company sent free samples just for asking!~
Individually wrapped pods:
Decaf 100% Columbian **
Breakfast Blend ** Smooth, slightly nutty flavor. No aftertaste. Great aroma.
House Blend *** Very good tasting coffee. Smooth, with no bite.
Columbian *** Another great coffee pod!

BLACK MOUNTAIN (Gold)
Individually wrapped pods:
Hawaiian Kona Blend **** Smooth, aromatic, with no aftertaste.
Costa Rican *** Very good taste and aroma. No aftertaste.
French Vanilla *** Great balance of vanilla flavor.
Cinnamon Crumb Cake *** Just the right amount of cinnamon in a medium good tasting coffee.
Moka Java *** Another great medium roast from BM.
Guatemalan Antigua Decaf *** Pretty good decaf coffee. Not too dark.

ALOHA ISLAND COFFEE
Individually wrapped pods:
100% Kona-Pod (Dark Roast) *Smooth mild coffee, dark roasted flavor. Strong, but I brewed at 2 cup. Pods are HUGE, and could have used more water.
100% Kona-Pod (Medium Roast) *** Tasted great at 2-3 cups. Mild Kona taste and aroma. Smooth, velvety texture. No aftertaste whatsoever. (great caffine buzz!)
100% Kona Private Estate Gold ** Good Kona flavor, and pretty smooth. I like this coffee, but prefer the blends. (does that even make sense?) I still haven't found a Kona pod that tastes as good as fresh ground Kona.
20%/80% Island Breakfast Kona Pod *** Great Kona taste and aroma. Smooth, with no smoky taste as some of the others have. This is a light roast.
20%/80% Chocolate Paradise *** This is the first chocolate flavored coffee I have liked. The chocolate doesn't have that fake flavor/aftertaste. Very smooth, light flavored coffee.

FLAVA PODS
~This company seems to have disappeared!~
Individually wrapped pods:
Mocha Cinnamon Swirl *** Not too strong, great cinnamon flavor.
Chocolate Cappucino *** great cup of coffee! Real mild cappuccino flavor.
San Francisco Blend ** good medium/dark flavor. No aftertaste. Nice!
Carmel Nut Crunch *** smooth carmel taste, hint of nut. Another ***!
Hawaiian Macadamia Nut *** Mild nutty flavor.
Cinnamon Sticky Bunn *** Very good flavor, not too strong with a thicker, buttery flavor.
French Vanilla Supreme ***The right amount of pure vanilla flavor.
Vanilla Hazelnut ***For those like me who enjoy flavors that are mild!
Cinnamon Almond Macaroon ***Great nutty flavors blended together for a mild taste.
Breakfast Blend ** This tastes VERY similar to Green Mt. BB, only a little milder. (but better)
Hazelnut Delight ** Dropped a star, only because I'm not a hazelnut fan.
Hawaiian Macadamia Nut *** Mild nutty flavor.
Swiss Chocolate Almond ** Mild chocolately texture with hint of almond.
Midnight Blend *** great, smooth taste, little aftertaste. Not strong like I thought it might be.

EIGHT O' CLOCK COFFEE PODS
These are not available in pod form anymore...bummer!
Individually wrapped pods:
100% Columbian **** Great taste! Very good medium coffee. This is one of my favorite pods. A great cup of medium roasted coffee. Perfect.

COOL BEANS PODS
~This company sent free samples just for asking!~
Individually wrapped pods:
Colombian Supremo*** Good everyday drink.
Mocha Cinnamon Swirl *** Great flavored coffee!
House Blend ** Not a bad sipper, just not my favorite blend. Great packaging on Cool Beans.
Swiss Chocolate Almond * But, I don't like any of the chocolate coffee's lately.
French Roast * Drinkable, but I don't like any French Roast coffee much.

java podz
Individually wrapped pods:
Chocolate Raspberry *** This didn't sound good to me, but it really is.
Blueberry Cobbler *** Very good blueberry flavor coffee!
Columbian Supremo *** Excellent tasting coffee pod! This would make a great everyday coffee. Smooth, medium coffee with no aftertaste or bitterness.
Kahlua Creme *** Great Kahlua flavor. Very creamy, yet light.
Swiss Water Process Decaf ***This is a really good decaf. No chemical tastes on this one!
Kauai 100% Hawaiian Estate Reserve ** Not bad, but not as good as Kona. Not an overwhelming flavor, and a great aroma.
Mocha Cinnamon Swirl ** Has that chocolate coffee flavor, hint of cinnamon.
Brownie Toffee Crunch ** This one is ok, but a little strange. Kinda hot chocolate flavored...with a twist.
French Vanilla ** Good vanilla flavor with a smooth finish.
Chocolate Cappuccino * Not a fan of this one. There are other choc/caps out there that are better.
Swiss Chocolate Almond * More almond than chocolate...but that's a good thing!

ARCHER FARMS (Target Stores)
Individually wrapped pods:
Breakfast Blend *** Tastes like many other BB's out there. Mild and aromatic.
Decaf Columbian ** Has that chemical type decaf flavor, but not overwhelming.
French Vanilla ** Pretty good, but not as good as some of the others.

DISTINCTIVELY YOURS (Mother Parkers Coffee, Canada)
Individually wrapped 9.5 gram pods:
Serengeti Roast *** This is great coffee! I really love this one. Medium taste, great aroma and finish. It's listed as Kenya, and is the only Kenya I've liked so far!
Cafe Roast *** Very good, sort of a breakfast blend/light taste.
Costa Rican Tarrazu ** Good flavored CR, a bit weak I thought.
European Dark ** Not bad for a dark coffee. Not too 'burnt' flavored like some. Rich.
Irish Creme ** I'm not a big fan of IC flavors, but this isn't overwhelming in flavor. A smooth, creamy flavor in a mild coffee. Not bad.
French Vanilla ** Mild vanilla flavor with no bitterness.

MELITTA
Individually wrapped pods:
Love @ first sip *** Very smooth coffee. (I still haven't figured out the right way to brew these thick, small pods in a Senseo!)
Kona *** I like this Kona Blend. Not much of that real KONA flavor, but a little. Medium roast with a mellow finish. Pod fits Senseo, but diameter looks a little small. No issues in single pod holder, however.

TIMOTHY'S
Individually wrapped pods:
Breakfast Blend **** This is my favorite Breakfast Blend so far, and I give it high marks. At 8 oz, it can get weak, so brew at a lower level to suit. Great packaging, with BEST BEFORE date printed on each packet. Flatten pod smooth before using in Senseo.
Italian Blend *** Great coffee! Mild flavor, just right.

REUNION ISLAND
Individually wrapped pods:
Costa Rica * - This is not as good as other Costa Rican pods I've had. Ok...nowhere NEAR as good as other CR's! As it cools...it's really bad.
Colombian Las Hermosas * Not impressed with the aftertaste. Not a great pod either.
Decaffeinated Medium Roast *** - Very good medium roasted decaf! No chemical taste with this gem...just a nice bodied, medium roast sans caffeine. A winner.

52nd STREET COFFEE
Individually wrapped pods:
House Blend * Interesting taste, but not a favorite. Slight aftertaste. As it cools, it takes on a nasty aftertaste.

ELDORADO COFFEE ROASTERS
Individually wrapped pods:
Organic Guatemala *** Tastes like a Costa Rican to me! Very smooth, perfectly roasted. No aftertaste.
Colombian Popayan Supremo *** Another hit! Great medium coffee.
Nuconcept Blend *** Not bad either. Not sure what the heck it is, but tasty.
French Vanilla *** Very good flavor, in a medium flavored coffee. Not overpowering. Just right.
Decafe Colombian ** Not my favorite...but not too bad. Medium roasted decaf. Edit: Just did another sample a year later. Same conclusion.
French Roast * Not to my roast specifications here. I'm not a dark fan.
Swiss Chocolate Almond - Yuck - Didn't like this one at all.

VAN HOUTTE
Individually wrapped pods:
Columbian 100% *** This one is pretty smooth, and aromatic. A keeper with no aftertaste.
House Blend ** I was not blown away with the flavor of this one. Much better out there. I rate this about 2.5 stars.
Vanilla Hazelnut ** I'm not a big hazelnut fan, hence the low rating.

MOLTO
Individually wrapped pods:
Breakfast Blend *** Very smooth taste, never bitter. I like it.

ONE CUP (1)
Individually wrapped pods:
100% Columbian *** Very good with smooth texture. No bite.
House Blend *** Another good medium brew.

FRATELLO COFFEE CO.
Costa Rican Organic Fair Trade *** Great body, nice aroma. Very smooth, not weak at all. This was tested in The Podster via Keurig machine.
Kauai Blend *** Very good medium roast. Great body and aroma.
Nicaraguan Selva Negra *** Very good medium roast. Very smooth and mild with a good body. Little aroma. A keeper.
Mexican Pluma *** This is really good! Taste is sorta flat, and aroma is slight. It's medium to light roasted to my tongue, and has good body.
Brazilian Santos *** Another great pod! This has a little less flatness, and smooth taste. More aromatic than the Mexican Pluma.
Sumatra Organic Fair Trade** High side of medium roasted. Better than some Sumatras, but not my favorite coffee.
Dixie Voodoo * Another dark roast not to my liking. This one has a nice body, and a sharp dark flavor. Love the name, not the roast. (reviewed using a Pod Holster via Keurig machine)
Mexican Organic * This is a dark roast as well. No go for me.
Highlander Grogg * Medium tasting Hazelnut flavor. No like.
Snicker doodle * Flavor that's hard to describe. Hint of Hazelnut, chocolate....I don't know.
Marachesh Blend ** Good body
Coconut Fiesta ** Strong coconut flavor, in a decent medium roast.
Gingerbread * Not a bad or overpowering flavor, just don't care for flavored coffee.

Thanks for the reviews! I like your system.

I would rate the pumpkin spice a tad higher (originally a lot higher, but after several more tries... so-so). You might try Baronet blueberry, I've had several and it seems to hold up.

Thanks. I try to give each coffee at least 2 tries before I review it. I tried the Baronet Blueberry today, and added it into my review. Good stuff!

I am awaiting a shipment from PODHEAD & COFFEEWHIZ right now to try some others. I'll just add them in then.

Ain't the podhead pods gooood!!!

Oh, oh. You're catching up to me in the number of different pods tried. I'm probably up around 50 or so different pods. Unfortunately the thread that had my reviews has disappeared. Looks like threads with no activity older than 30 days are deleted.

Yea...I hack back in and add more pods.
U2 said it best..."I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." I'm hopin' those **** coffee pods are in the next shipment! I won't stop until I've tried them all!

PODHEAD Organic Columbia came REAL close today!

Older posts deleted??? That's why it's tough to find anything under SEARCH. I wish they'd keep them around for review.

Rachel...I'll have to send for some Javapodz. I haven't tried any yet.

Here's a tip on the PREMIUM PODS...
I just sent them an email and asked for some sample pods to try. They sent me 3 selections just for asking. Now that's CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've added them to my review above.

PS...I like the coffee, and they will be getting some future business from me!

I've added several more pods to my review above.

A couple surprises:
PODHEAD Milano Espresso Roast was better than I thought it would be. I'm not real big on the strong drinks, and it surprised me.

BARONET'S Creme Brulee was also something I didn't think sounded good. Wrong...it was REALLY good! Not at all what I had expected.

I'm not totally STEERING CLEAR of pods I don't think I'll like. Some that sound good...aren't. And some that don't sound good....are. I guess the key is try them all!

PS...the COFFEE POD NAPSTER SYSTEM is working great. Let's trade some pods folks!

Thanks to Maxine, I just had a cup of that this morning as well. I thought it was pretty good! (This is coming from someone that just bought the 100% Kona from Aloha Islands.) On the other hand, I wasn't impressed with Black Mountain's Costa Rican (compliments of Maxine, too). I thought it was just so-so.
