Last time I played poker, I brought the SimpleHuman. Although much coffee was consumed, the neanderthals that I play with refused to give much credit to the little pod brewer. Naturally, I didn't bother to bring it this weekend.
Every person at the table asked about it, and was dissapointed that they had to drink "regular" coffee. Which means that I am:

They just didn't show ya enough Appreshee-AY-shun!

If I was gonna drag my gourmet coffee brewer to a card party I wouldn't do it twice it it was totally taken for granted, either.

Ah, but I'll bet you'll be bringing it NEXT time, as you are now the Poker Podster!

Where is everybody anyway? The place has become a ghost-board. . . . haunted . . . .

. . . . only
. . . . . . . . . . . . . by the
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Poker Podster . . . . and that mysterious hollow howling wind . . . . .

Was I the only one who thought this thread was about playing poker and using pods as chips before reading it? Talk about high stakes poker!

And I had to forward on those melitta's. I tried 3 of them in my krups and BOOM on all three... The krups does not like the older, thicker melitta pods. Luckily a Sergeant at the jail has a melitta in her office, so I scored some brownie points by supplying the admin office. Very Happy

Them Melittas just don't got what it takes! I hope you've tried some decent stuff like Gourmet Cafe since then. (Once I got ahold of Gourmet Cafe Columbian, nothing else is good enough!)

Pods and Poker redux.
Taking my Simp back to the game. I am prepping by drinking an Opium Platinum. Little do the rubes know that I have spiked all of the pods that I'm bringing with tryptophans. I suspect that by 0200, baby will have a new pair of shoes.

Podster
(Hey, it aint cheatin, it's poker)

I prefer serving the Butter injected pods over the brined ones. The deep fried Cajun ones are also quite popular.

For myself, I drink the Daniel Negreanu All In blend.

Did baby get new shoes or does papa get a new Bunn? Very Happy

Papa got 3/4 of a Bunn, but might spend it on shoes for baby. Very Happy
