It's basically a French Press with integrated cup. A better integrated French Press / Travel Mug is availble from www.liquidplanet.com. They come in a variety of colors and are very convenient, especially for traveling.

Yes, Liquid Planet is a great store. I've bought some great Japanese and Chinese teapots and loose leaf teas from them. Their French Press mugs are highly regarded from user comments I've read on the web.
