They only offer two kinds of pods (dark and medium roast). Since Matt hated the medium, I went for the dark.
A bag of 16 pods ended up costing me only $2.99 since I was able to stack the coupon code NEWBREW (thanks, RetailMeNot!) with the current 20% off + free shipping promotion. Plus I'm getting a free travel mug on top of it all after joining their coffee club (no strings attached, cancel at any time, etc.). Seems like I can't lose with this deal even if the pods turn out to be terrible!

Looks like they fixed the stacking. Can't do it anymore now that they're requiring a coupon code to get the first 20% off.

Jason, how are the Paramount pods? It looks like they're not individually wrapped, which scared me off. Otherwise, a Fair Trade Rwanda pod would have been very appealing.

Well bummer, that didn't last long. My fault for missing this thread on the day you posted it

I don't have a pod machine (only Keurig) so i couldn't tell you, but I did order a bag of their Fair Trade Rwanda beans. I've never ordered from them before and didn't see them mention that their beans are roasted to order which concerned me a bit, but I figured it was worth it for 40% off.
As of now it's already been nearly a week since I placed my order, so they won't be extremely fresh. I was hoping to get them today instead of monday. Im sure it'll still be ok though.

Update on my order at Paramount:
I placed my order over a week ago and still have not yet received it even though my order status is "shipped". That's really unacceptable for any company that sells coffee beans since they begin to taste stale after 2-3 weeks. I also don't know if they were roasted when I ordered them, or whether they were already sitting in the warehouse for several days (or weeks). Their site does not make that clear. I will not order from them again.

I wonder if they shipped using that FedEx method where they only deliver Tues.-Sat.? Maybe you'll get lucky today.

I sent them an email and they said it's supposed to arrive tomorrow. That would be a total of 9 days since the day i ordered. They still did not tell me what day my coffee was roasted after I emailed them, so it's probably past it's prime already, but should still be drinkable. Maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised.
