The B70 will not make a strong ~10oz cup unless you use two k-cups at the 6oz setting

Single serve pods or K-cups are designed around a 6-7 ounce drop.

That said, pods and K-cups will generally give you coffee that ounce for ounce blows Charbucks away.

Can't think of one. How about a filtercone?

http://www.sweetmarias.com/prod.single_cup.php

With a filter there wouldn't be much mess.

p.s. Maybe I'm just used to a smaller cup now, but why do you want 10 oz.? More caffeine?

Jet Fuel from Coffee People - that will do the trick.

The only ones that I have noted to produce a strong cup at over 8 ounces have been Van Houtte Eclipse and Gloria Jean's Black Gold.

That Clever Coffee Dripper from Sweet Maria's is fantastic, by the way.

The clever coffe dripper probably is the best way to make coffee to suite your taste. They should make one that is insulated with a lid though.I am still double brewing my coffee in a cheap drip machine. They need to make pods for a 12 ounce cup.Or make a single serve bean to cup machine.Haven't made my mind up yet. Confused

The one machine that's designed to handle both pods and ground coffee well is the Cuisinart SS-1 (now discontinued). You can still find it at Tuesday Morning stores or on eBay. Worth looking into? There are plenty of reviews available here and on the main site.
