Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know the drill. We want to know what your favorite Single Serve Coffee products were in in 2005.
What were you favorite coffee pods? K-Cups? What single serve brewer really seemed to be the best? What was the most improved brewer? Do you have a favorite vendor you use to buy your single serve coffee products from? What was your favorite review on Single Serve Coffee.com? After the loads of issues I had with the B&D Home Cafes, the Bunn My Cafe is a clear winner for me..
Baronet Dark Kenya AA was my favorite pod, although many of their pods are my favorites..
My biggest disappointment was that the Starbucks pods weren't official and got pulled..
CoffeeWhiz has been an awesome vendor, but CoolBeanspods did overnight me an entire replacement box of pods when I had a few defective, so I'm on the fence there..
And this forum is my favorite place to be.
btw, look at the title of this new forum you made.. you're missing an "E" _________________ own:

The Baronet Kenya AA is definitely an excellent pod, although I think Baronet's Yuletide Blend comes pretty close. _________________ Jason Perlow

Simplehuman Pod Brewer
BUNN My Cafe
Melitta One:One with Universal Pod Holder
Best Machine: Nespresso, I have the D150 and it hasn't stopped running since we got it.
Best Nespresso Capsule: Senang.
Worst Milk Frother: Me, but I 'm working on it.
Best Pod: JavaOne Estate Costa Rican (Betterpods Estate Costa Rican, as far as I can tell these are the same coffee!).
Best Flavored Pod: Baronet Creme Brulee (with milk and sugar added).
Best Decaf Pod: Black Mountain Gold Guatemalan Antigua
Best Flavored Decaf Pod: There are none, still looking for a good one.
Best Pod Brewer: I have only tried the Senseo, but am very happy with it.
Favorite Vender: CoffeeWhiz, but all the vendors I have tried have been great.
Best Forums on the web: This one of course, there are some very helpful people out there suggesting pods for me to try. Thanks to all and I look forward to more good advice in 2006.
Favorite Single Serve Brewer: Tassimo - although this is the only brewer I own, I have to give Kudos to this new, revolutionary brewer, that has apparently become an enormous success, and is truly broken new ground in this particular market space.
Favorite T-Disc: A toss up between Gevalia Signature Crema, and Mastro Lorenzo Crema.
Favorite Review:August 30th - Tassimo - This was the review that made my decision easy.
Favorite Vendor & Forum Poster: This has to be Jim at Coffeewhiz. Fantastic website (soooo glad they have Tassimo stuff now), and a great contributor to and sponser of this forum.
Favorite all-time forum: Has to be this one by a landslide. I enjoy this forum immensely. This has to be THE most civilized and informational forum to which I have been associated. _________________ Own: Tassimo , Keurig B-60, Gevalia Pod Machine (Travel Machine), Bunn MyCafe, Bodum French Press, Bialetti Brikka Stovetop Espresso Maker, DeLonghi Drip machine (retired), Gevalia 4 cup drip machine (retired).

Best Forum Poster: This is too hard. MichFan has been helpful. I know my reviews (that aren't there any more) were also good. Heh. Jim from Coffee Whiz is great too. Can't forget about deCadmus, the GMCR guy who also sheds light on stuff. I guess he'd be poster of the year if he had Hot Chocolate, Kona K-Cups and Coconut year round, so there's always next year.
I will not vote for best brewer, becuase I only have the Keurig. Well then again it should win, because who wants to figure out what # of grams a pod is. T-Disc sounds interesting, but no way in crap am I choose from Maxwell house or 2 Gevalia flavors only.
Favorite K-Cup: GMCR Coconut. Hands down. OMG the smell of this one is just incredible. GMCR Blueberry a close second, followed by Timothy's Mocha Java and VH Napolitano.
Favorite Single Serve Coffee Site: Duh.
Best place to buy Coffee: Nominees are GMCR Direct, Keurig direct, VH direct and Coffee Whiz. Coffee Whiz wins by a mile. I will say that all vendors are prompt, but CW goes the extra mile with Jim personally Pming me order status via the site when I have a question . Hope I'm not going to burden you with more emails. Heh.
Favorite place to always be entered in brewer giveaways but never win: same. lol
WTF product for 2005: That Timothy's K-Cup Lemon Drink. Seriously, WTF.
What I can't wait for in 2006: Twinings Tea in K-Cups, My K-cup thingy, Hot Chocolate from Ghirdelli (however you spell it), GMCR Coconut because I will buy every box made. Well you know what I mean. _________________ Tell Van Houtte-let their coffee be sold @ CoffeeWhiz:

What were you favorite coffee pods?
I like everything coming out of Baronet, Molto and Podhead.com.
K-Cups?
So far, I like the Green Mountain Sumatran and Green Mountain Blueberry and the Timothy's darker roasts. I also like Timothy's Canarino as a nice alternative to coffee and tea.
What single serve brewer really seemed to be the best?
For pod and tea bag brewing I'd have to hand it off to the Bunn so far. A close second is the Simplehuman. For those who want a consistently good single serve experience the Keurig systen cannot be beat.
Do you have a favorite vendor you use to buy your single serve coffee products from?
I think Coffeewhiz and Podhead.com are both doing exceptional jobs. Coffeewhiz has a tremendous selection and great service, and Podhead is artisanally roasting excellent select varietals of coffee, packaging it wonderfully, and providing great service. _________________ Jason Perlow

Best Pod: BLACK MOUNTAIN GOLD Hawaiian Kona Blend
Best Flavored Pod: D & E Senseo 'Paris' (no flames please! )
Worst Pod: Tie between BETTERPODS French Vanilla and BARONET Pumpkin Spice! DOUBLE YIKES!
Best Decaf Pod: BETTTERPODS Decaf Columbian
Best Flavored Decaf Pod: Jury is still out on this one.
Favorite Vender: CoffeeWhiz! Thanks for all you do Jim!
(Kudos go to PODHEAD in shipping dept!) When a person needs coffee...they need it fast!
Favorite thing about this forum: All the helpful and friendly people here!
I really like 'Marci's' idea with the CPNS/Podster trading system. I've sampled SO MANY COFFEE pods in my search for the best. Thanks Marci! And thanks to all you CPNS traders for the coffee!
Thanks to all those involved in making and maintaining this forum and website. It's much appreciated! _________________ Pete (Jolly) -

Actually the "trading system" was actually Hodaka's idea, I think (waaay back last summer when there were only 15 people registered). I came up with a name for it! _________________ OPOD & Romeo
What were you favorite K-Cups?
My favorites are Bigelow and Celestial Seasonings Green Tea, Gloria Jean's Cappucino and Butter Toffee.
What single serve brewer really seemed to be the best?
Keurig B-40,50,60. The B-50 Ultra gets the nod as the best of the three for the price. The auto-on / off features are very nice. I love the fact that it is quick, quiet, and makes a good cup o' tea and a good mug o' joe. It is also very clean, with a large variety of k-cups to choose from. The k-cups seems to stay very fresh too.
Do you have a favorite vendor you use to buy your single serve coffee products from?
Keurig.com. They have the largest variety of k-cups and deliver quickly to the East Coast. I also love being able to buy in quantities of 5 so I can mix it-up with many different brands.
What was your favorite review on Single Serve Coffee.com?
The B-50 and Tassimo reviews were my favorites, as these are the two I had to decide between. _________________
I use to be a coffee snob, believing that only freshly ground beans could possibly create a delicious cup. I spent money on Bunn drip machines, Capresso, Cuisinart and a host of others. My closet started to look like a coffee makers wholesaler distributor. I saw the Keurig B60 and was intrigued, but having just laid out big bucks for a Capresso machine I was hesitant. On the other hand, the idea of no mess, no soggy filter paper's spilling grounds on the floor, and no longer having the static electricity of grinding sending fine coffee particles clinging to all sorts of surfaces seemed like it was worth a try. I will never go back! I am having a total love affair with my Keurig. The selections are wonderful, the coffee is hot, and when I throw the K cup in the trash I am still amazed at the fact that there is nothing else to clean. As for the lemon flavored just released by Timothy's, while someone else here called it a WTF product, I just ordered a couple of boxes. I live in New England......the land of endless winter, and the thoughts of having a nice steaming cup of lemon flavored drink late at night and avoiding the caffeine buzz sounds good to me. Did I say I LOVE my Keurig??
