Hmmm . . . . I think Marci's maybe increased her daily coffee in take a wee bit? Cool

Well, I'm bummed, my mom is using her Keurig everyday but only to put hot water in her cup for INSTANT coffee.

I gotta go back to square one and get her some more varieties of nice mild K-Cups to try. She now says the VH Columbian and Costa Rica are 'those funny tasting' coffees. For years I drank dark roast and she doesn't trust me to know anything about coffee now.

But oh well, when others drop by they can have a 30-second cup of coffee now, but I was hoping the Keurig would bring her more happiness than as a mere hot-water-dispenser Rolling Eyes

Heiffer Hope Blend, here I come! Laughing

I got pods and Kcups from me wife. I was out for 5 days! I had to buy a small bag of 8 O'clock Columbian beans to grind for the My Kcup to get me through. The good news is I figured out a system that works well for my grinder and the My Kcup to make a good cup. GJ Black Gold EB (yum), Tully's Evergreen and BB for K cups. Baronet Monster Donut Shop and Monster Mocha Java, Melitta Pecan Pie, Kona, and Happy Holidays for pods. All new to me too. So far I tried the Donut Shop and Black Gold. Both are excellent. Especially the Donut Shop. Very tasty as I am a BIG Dunkin' Donuts fan. And this from someone who used to work for Krispy Kreme Shocked

Actually, I haven't increased my intake. That poses a problem as I have a heck of a lot of pods! I also miss the Keurig and now have a lingering feeling I want a Tassimo(have experiencing it at a holiday party). Shocked

I received a Senseo for Christmas. It came with 68 pods. Right now my favorite is the Medium Roast. I like to buy some pods out on Creative Pods (I think that is the name). From what I have read, they are suppose to be good. I did get some cappuccino pods. Now I have never had a real cappuccino so I have nothing to compare it but it was good and creamy (just the way I like it).

I started off with the B&D HomeCafe. I like it for the size you could make and the coffee was good and hot. But the coffee tasted like plastic Sad. I took it back the next day. Now I had made some Fogers(what I had in the freezer) with the B&D and it was very muddy not a dark black color. Wth the Senseo, I get a nice black coffee using the Fogers. Though, right now I am more fond of the pods than Fogers regular.
