How does the presence of turbulence differ from the strength of that turbulence? How can this affect my extractions? What about flavor development? This webinar will be a sort of "round table" discussion facilitated by Rusty Angell. We will cover many topics as well as have time for Q & A.

I'm going to try to tune in. Yesterday Rusty claimed via Twitter that anyone might find it useful since turbulence is involved in all coffee brewing methods.

That is just strange. A brand spanking new one with a full warranty is $550. Maybe I could sell mine for $650!

Looks like $535 + shipping (so $555 total) is where that auction ended. You could be right, Scott, or maybe there was some shill bidding going on, or just plain boneheadedness. Whatever the case may be, I'm sure the seller is happy. A new MB bought through Bunn sells for only a few bucks more at $559 (including shipping) these days--just did a test order to check.

Wow, the seller must be happy to get that price. Didn't seeing it going for that much. With this type of sillyness, it's going to be a few years before I ever see one of these. Entertaining though!
