I previously placed an order with tassimodirect.com for the 30% T-Discs. I have 5 coming, at 30% off with free shipping. I thought I'd add some of the new flavors to my standing order, specifically King of Joe Dark Roast. None of the new ones are offered on sale.
Unfortunately after placing the sale order, I tried to edit my standing order to add the new flavors to it. The tassimodirect system gave me a message saying that, due to heavy demand for them, these could not be in a standing order. Well, darn ...
So I wrote to the customer service department, asking if they could add a King of Joe to the single order I had just placed. Predictably, I received an email back, letting me know that my request had been denied (reminds me of the last big company I worked for, 'your days-off request has been denied due to ...') Customer Service wrote, "Unfortunately, once an order has been submitted we are not able to make any changes to the order, as it is processed immediately upon receipt". Do they still only ship once a week, on Friday?
So now I'm thinking that I should cancel my auto-order since it's working to my disadvantage. If anyone has a contact at Kraft/Tassimo, maybe we could get word to them to protect their regular customers. I mean, season ticket holders get first shot at the best seats, right? How 'bout applying the same common sense to fans of coffee? There I go, thinking logically again.
