I prefer the CCD, which I see you already have.

I like the Areopress and I like the CCD too, but these two methods do not provide the same experience in the cup. I sat on the fence for a while but am happy now that is is part of the arsenal. I use 215g water, 14g beans, fine grind, pour, stir, steep 45 seconds, plunge. I then add hot water from the kettle to taste, or sometimes not...

Those mills do look nice - good Aeropress presentation too - it really is an easy to use device.

Yet another way to use the Aeropress ...
http://coffeecollective.blogspot.com/20 ... ethod.html

I've been using the inverted method all weekend, and the results have been great.

My recipe:

16g med./fine in my Hario Slim Mill
water heated in my Pino to 202F
fill to just over the #3 indicator, and stir for about 10-20 sec.
top off (right to the rim), flip (back to "right side up"),and then a slow steady plunge

Deeeeelish! :D

I will try this tomorrow - it sounds like a neat technique.

I still haven't found a way to make a bad cup yet.
