Spoke to Nespresso this AM. It will be priced at $20.00 US per sleeve for anyone interested.

Geez, I feel like I'd need to take out insurance on the shipping. I wonder if it's covered in my homeowner's policy. Probably not unless it's properly appraised and scheduled.

How "limited quantity" could it be if they're offering this worldwide? I'm both fascinated and [sticker]-shocked. Not fascinated enough to pay that much for a sleeve though. I predict someone will try to sell singles on eBay.

It's official. The Kona capsules are now available at Nespresso. According to Nespresso customer service, they don't expect their supply to last more than 10-14 days at best, though.
At $20.00 per sleeve, I don't anticipate placing 15-20 sleeve orders like I did with Crealto, but I've ordered a few to have on hand for special occasions. I love Island coffee and have a good feeling about this one. Nespresso has been on a roll for the last few years, beginning with their Pure Origins and the Limited Editions starting with the first Kazaar release, and I have high hopes that this Kona will be another winner in the lineup. Surprisingly enough, even last year's flavored Variations make interesting Lattes. As was posted elsewhere, they will be continuing the Hawaiian theme with this year's Variations: Hazelnut, Macadamia Nut, and Coconut.

Nothing up on the Nespresso Canada site, might be a really limited release. At $20 a sleeve I doubt many would bite anyways

p.s. Looks like you can buy a single sleeve of this in the U.S., i.e. no 5-sleeve minimum online.
