I was in Big Lots today and they had the Melitta One for $18.00. I'm not sure how many states Big Lots has stores in, but its a good deal if anyone is interested.

My wife is a school teacher and the coffee at her work is simply horrible. So when we found this brewer at Big Lots today, we snapped it up.
We've cleaned it and given it a test drive w/ some Lipton Tea Pods also found at Big Lots and we're pretty pleased. (Knowing my wife, she'll use this thing for iced tea more than coffee anyway.)
But the pod holder is defiantly smaller in diameter than the Senseo and I can't help but wonder if that will pose a problem down the road.
Still, for the price, I think she'll be happy w/ it.

I still like my Melitta. I got it about a year and a half ago online somewhere for 20 bucks and it's still brewing very decent coffee. This is a great cubicle machine, and it looks like Darth Vader when it's open, if you get the black one.

This was my first SS machine, and it made good coffee. I became frustrated with it leaking from trying to stuff the regular sized pods.
I think that I read the newer ones accomodate larger pods.
The Melitta pods worked fine, though.
