Did anyone else watch the 30 minute Vue infomercial? It aired on the Food Network a few days ago at about 6 am. It was AWFUL! I am not sure who their target audience is supposed to be but as a 30-something female - I was extremely unimpressed. The acting was bad, the lack of real information about the product was shocking, and the $300 price tag (plus shipping) was unimpressive... it was just overall horribad!

I am 100% Team Keurig. I have a B70, a pantry full of at least 100 k-cups, and I was about to run out and drop $250 on the Vue as soon as it hit my local BB&B so I would THINK I would be the type of person they are trying to advertise to but I guess not...

Anyone else have thoughts about this infomercial?? Am I just being a grouch??

I couldn't believe they dug up Jennie Garth to do the infomercial. That shocked me. Anyway I wish I had seen this commercial before buying my Vue as I think it's a really good deal as they are bundling tons of stuff with it. It's $249 and you have to pay shipping of $20 but you get 50 Vue packs, a Keurig travel mug, a Keurig plastic tumbler (for iced drinks), a water filter kit (with 2 cartridges and the holder) and, if you pay all at once instead of monthly payments, you get a Vue Pack Carousel too!

I got the Vue from BB&B and, after using a 20% coupon, I paid approx $219 (including tax). All I got was the Vue with a 10-pack Vue sampler. With this TV offer you get:

Water filter= $18
Iced drink tumbler = $10
Stainless steel travel mug = $20
Vue pack carousel = $30
40 additional Vue Packs = approx. $30

That's an additional $108 worth of extras for only $50 more than what I paid ($219 versus $269).

Yep got the carousel as well, no tax just shipping ($20).

Wow I wasn't sure about the tax charge but now that I know they don't charge tax I may buy this (even though I bought a Vue 2 weeks ago). This is a sickening deal!

I wouldn't be able to bear watching the entire thing. I skimmed through and watched a few 30 second clips of it.

^^^ +1. Unwatchable. Although I did find it amusing how everyone was being so careful to say [kyuh] rather than [kuh] at the beginning of "Keurig."

I guess if you consider the carousel and if you like all the flavors that are included - it is not a bad deal. So I will retract what I said about the price!!

BUT I still stand by my review of the infomercial= HORRIBAD! Maybe they should have hired Charlie Sheen instead of Jennie Garth?
